Lessons online continue for our students. It’s been a long haul this year, for all of us. We are ready to open our new music school location in Leander, TX. There are many students who are excited about coming back in for lessons, face to face. Of course, other students would rather take music lessons online, at the moment. The good news is that you can do either. So, even if you are enrolled for music lessons online, it is possible to switch to face to face lessons. Or, the other way around We strive to give the people what they want!

When the pandemic hit we have to admit that we were panicked too. Fortunately, due to years of experience in running business we were able to transition quickly, and with outstanding communication to our teachers and students. Setting up online music lessons was a new experience for us and our students. With everyone’s cooperation we were able to pull it off for 8 months! Now, we are so ready to get back to in person music lessons.

Getting back to In Person lessons

Our new location is in the heart of Leander, TX at E.Crystal Falls Pkwy btw 183A and Ronald Reagan Blvd, right next to Texas Humane Heroes. Our address is 1640 Highland Falls Dr, Suite 201, Leander, TX 78641. We have 20 + instructors to meet your scheduling needs. They are all music school graduates with great experience, references and accomplishments. We pride ourselves in find the areas best music teachers to work with kids and adults in our community. Our location has 9 private lesson rooms, a huge lobby and plenty of space to foster the perfect environment for music lessons face to face or online lessons.

Looking for a music school in Leander? You’ve found it! With our new opening this month in Leander our music school will be the only music school in Leander, TX. We chose to build our school between 183A & Reagan Blvd on E. Crystal Falls. Why? So that we could provide a high quality music school to Leander with the easiest access for students from Liberty Hill, Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock & Lago Vista. Plus, we are going to continue offering online music lessons for students anywhere in Central Texas and beyond.

As the only Leander music school, we had planned for a custom built facility. For your convenience, we have 9 private lesson rooms and a large lobby w/ 2 bathrooms. Social distancing will be the rule and extra precautions are in place to cycle and clean the air. Each room has a solid core door with a window in it and at least one window to the outside. The sheet rock used is call “Quiet Rock” which is acoustically rated material, at 5 times the cost or conventional sheet rock. Why? Because we want you to have the best experience possible while taking music lessons. Our goal has always been to provide a beautiful space that is safe, highly functional, family friendly, and in a location that is convenient. We feel good about meeting our goals. We love to see students meet their goals too.

Getting back into the swing of things? There are a lot of moving parts w/ back to school phases, life! That’s why we have the widest selection of music lessons for YOU! We are open 6 days a week– as late as 8:30 pm so you can make space for Music Lessons in your week! We teach piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, bass and drums! Friends, it’s been a long journey with many ups and downs for HitMaker Music School. Mostly ups since we have grown every year. Back in 2013, we started our music school and have the honor of offering music lessons to our community. As we move into our next chapter, there are greater obstacles to overcome. 2020 has been a very tough year for Americans and the world. Throughout the chaos, we have been fortunate to continue to offer music lessons to our students. Keeping our instructors and staff employed through this year has been a Blessing. Thanks to our amazing students, we close to completing our new, forever home in Leander, TX.

We are so excited about the new location in Leander, TX. Students coming from Leander, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill, Georgetown, Round Rock, & Austin, TX. When the building is completed in October, we will offer in person music lessons to current and new incoming students. Don’t worry, if you want to take online lessons. We are still offering successful online music lessons and will continue to offer them for the long term. Many students are interested in taking in person music lessons and we will be so pleased to reintroduce the option to come in to our beautiful studio.

Of course, we are taking every precaution to ensure the safest environment. Actually, we’re going above and beyond. Not only will we be following standard guidelines but we are adding ventilation and germicidal air treatment to the HVAC systems. Plus, every room will have a HEPA filter air purifier with germicidal UV-C light contained in the unit. Our lobby will be closed at first. Then, we will designate areas for a student to wait for their instructor that are safely distanced. We feel confident in opening for in person music lessons asap. Just waiting on the building to be finished.

Start with online lessons then, decide if you would like to come for in person lessons when available, which is just weeks away! You can start lessons any time during the month and we will prorate your tuition, as needed. Since March, HitMaker Music School has been successfully providing remote music lessons to hundreds of students, weekly. Through remote online lessons, our instructors have been able to provide our students with a wonderful learning opportunity. Since 2013, our students base has grown to hundreds of student of all ages in music lessons. We have a great group of instructors with degrees from great schools like Berklee College of Music, U. of Houston, Texas State, North Texas, Chicago institute, and U. of Florida, to name just a few. Our teachers are real, working musicians who make their living teaching, performing and writing music in multiple sectors of the music industry. We believe that students learn best when working with a teacher who has real word experience and knowledge. Our goal is to inspire the students to do their best. A skill that will serve through their entire life-time. Remote music lessons have been a huge success.

We have had students who start out learning in piano lessons then, switch to guitar lessons. Some start of voice lessons then, move to drum lessons. We have the flexibility and resources to provide the best quality music lessons in the area, whether meeting in-person or in online music lessons. There is a wide range of students in terms of age and interests. One of our students is 78 years young and learning the banjo. Another is just turning 6 years of age and has added piano lessons to his current schedule in drum lessons. If we can help students of any age find the joy of music and playing an instrument, our music school will have continued success with remote music lessons.

We are anxious to get back to in-person lessons but have been pleasantly impressed with our online lesson platform. Instructors have adapted to provide great lessons. Yet, the most important part of online music lessons is the student / teacher relationship. Our instructors are warm and patient with students. They have a passion for sharing music with others. That is the difference between recorded video lessons and Live online music lessons.

HitMaker Music School since 2013, for private, weekly music lessons in Cedar Park and Leander for children and adults in a clean, safe, family oriented environment. Private one-on-one music lessons take place in our spacious, brightly lighted studio.

Our voice Instructors have three essential qualifications; University training, years of successful experience teaching voice lessons, and a love for sharing the joy of singing lessons. Each month, our students work towards earning their Musical Ladder Trophies and performing onstage at our awesome recitals.

We recommend starting private music  lessons between ages 6-9 years of age. Music lessons with children will not be taught in the same way as music lessons with adults.  Our teachers exercise care in choosing age appropriate songs during the music lessons that will help the students improve.

HitMaker Music School also gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), wristbands and certificates for passing musical tests with their instructor.  Do other music schools in offer wristbands and certificates?  Maybe.  But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them really cool wristbands that they can show off.
